Support Our Mission

A safe return home from the hospital. Meals delivered. Help getting dressed, bathing, or managing medications. A caregiver finally getting a few hours to run errands, have coffee with friends, take the dog for a long walk, or go on a family outing.

For many older adults, people with disabilities, and family caregivers, these everyday moments depend on whether the right support is available. Your donation, large or small, helps give those in need the choice to stay at home with dignity and independence. Contributions support critical needs such as food, clothing, medicine, community activities, and health and wellness resources that help people remain safe, connected, and supported in their communities.

This support reaches more than 12,000 people each year — neighbors, caregivers, and families who rely on these services to remain safely at home.

Growing older or living with a disability can bring unexpected challenges, and many people face them alone. A missed medical appointment, no food in the refrigerator, unpaid bills, or not having help with day-to-day activities can quickly put someone’s health and independence at risk. We work hard everyday to ensure that no one has to face these challenges without the support they need. Your donations mean that:

  • Someone returning home from the hospital or long-term care facility has the support they need to recover safely
  • Older adults get help with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, mobility support, medication reminders, etc.
  • Meals and essential services reach individuals who might otherwise go without
  • Caregivers receive respite support, temporary care for their loved one that allows them to take a needed break, attend school and sporting events, rest or manage other responsibilities
  • Low-income older adults are connected to healthcare coverage and services they need

There are many ways to make a real impact. Explore the options below and choose the one that works best for you.

Your gift helps older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers receive essential services that allow them to remain at home, safe and supported. Monthly giving provides steady support that helps us respond quickly when someone needs assistance.

You can recommend a grant from your Donor-Advised Fund to support Boston Senior Home Care and help ensure individuals and caregivers receive the services they need.

Honor the life of a loved one or celebrate someone special with a tribute gift. We will notify the individual or family of your thoughtful donation.

Many employers match employee donations, sometimes doubling or tripling the impact of your gift. Check with your Human Resources department to see if your company participates.
