We are thrilled to announce that Mayor Michelle Wu will be joining us to present Suzanne Lee with the Community Advocacy Award. The mayor’s presence is a powerful testament to Suzanne’s decades of tireless advocacy for Boston’s communities and her extraordinary impact on our city. We appreciate Mayor Wu’s commitment to supporting Boston Senior Home Care and the transformational leaders who stand for compassion, equity, and justice.
Master of Ceremonies

Known as Boston’s Beloved Radio Voice, Candy O is a member of the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame. An award-winning radio broadcaster, podcaster, master interviewer, and singer, her music has been played around the world. She and her daughter Colleen are the co-authors of the illustrated children’s series, Nelson’s Garden.
A master interviewer, Candy O has provided a platform for the stories of nearly 1000 women from every walk of life. Her weekly series The Story Behind Her Success is heard throughout the US and around the world. A regular contributor to Pink Chair Storytellers Magazine, Candy is a lifelong advocate in the fight against breast cancer. A recent survivor herself, she is the proud recipient of the Ellie Popkin Award from The Ellie Fund. In the spring of 2025, Candy honored her friend’s dying wish by launching the Sweet Melissa Fund to provide emergency help to women in crisis.

“Top-Ten of New York Cabaret” and Talent America “Performer of the Year” Brian De Lorenzo is an award-winning singer, actor, and songwriter equally at home in nightclubs, concert halls, and theatres. He has performed at venues in London; New York; Chicago; San Francisco; Rochester; Durango, CO; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Madrid; Tuscany; Sicily; on cruise ships in the Mediterranean and Alaska; and all over New England. He has worked at Boston Senior Home Care since 2013.
Brian has been a featured performer with the Western New York Chamber Orchestra, the Parkway Concert Orchestra, and the Little Apple Big Band. Beverly Creasey of Cabaret Scenes Magazine said, “there are good shows and there are great shows, but once in a blue moon you’re at a cabaret and you know something extraordinary is going on.”
Brian’s first “big band” album, Toast of the Town, Vol. 1 was released in June. “Nostalgic, romantic, buoyant, sincere, and solid: that’s what you get with singer Brian De Lorenzo and his new album.” – Rob Lester, Talkin’ Broadway. Toast of the Town, Vol. 2 will be released in 2026.
